St. Helens Police Seek Additional Information in Sexual Abuse Case

St. Helens, Ore. - On January 24, 2024, St. Helens Police Department officers and Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested William Bigley, 49, of St. Helens in the 700 block of Maplewood Drive in St. Helens. Bigley was arrested for an outstanding warrant for three counts of Sexual Abuse I and a single count of Unlawful Sexual Penetration I. Bigley was lodged at the Columbia County Jail.

Bigley’s arrest was the result of a three-week investigation started from a report made to the St. Helens Police Department. Investigators presented the case to a Columbia County Grand Jury, which indicted Bigley on all charges. Detectives are seeking additional information regarding Bigley’s activities.
