ST. HELENS POLICE DEPARTMENT IMPLEMENTS YOUTH CITATION CAMPAIGN

St. Helens, Ore. -  St. Helens youth should pay close attention to a new citation campaign implemented by the St. Helens Police Department.

St. Helens Police Department officers are currently issuing citations to youth spotted doing good deeds around the city of St. Helens. If you are ticketed by an officer, your “pizza citation” requests your appearance at Sunshine Pizza in September for a pizza party with officers of the St. Helens Police Department.

Caught wearing a bicycle helmet while riding your bike? You may be facing a pizza citation. Spotted using the crosswalk or helping a person pick up items they dropped on the sidewalk? These good deeds are citation worthy.

If you plan to enter a guilty plea to these acts of good behavior, we look forward to your appearance at pizza court with attorneys (a.k.a. family members) of your choosing. Citations entitle the bearer to a free meal and allow family members attending to a meal for $5.

St. Helens Police Department seeks to ticket up to 100 youth for their acts of good behavior.
