City of St. Helens Partners with Columbia Pacific Food Bank During COVID-19 Outbreak

March 16, 2019 Update

From the St. Helens Senior Center: Due to concerns about the COVID-19 virus, the Area Agency on Aging has advised senior centers in Columbia County to immediately suspend congregate meals and activities for the next few weeks. Therefore, all meals served at the Center will cease for now, and all activities will be suspended. This includes tax preparation, as we were notified by AARP that they are suspending all tax prep sites at this time.

**Please note that home-delivered meals are not affected by this change.** We will continue to prepare and deliver meals to those who have been approved to receive them through Community Action Team (CAT) and the State of Oregon. If you have questions about your status, please call CAT at 503-397-3511.

We will continue to update you as soon as we get new information on this rapidly changing situation. You are also welcome to call the Center at 503-397-3377.
