The City of St. Helens seeks a qualified part-time term-limited Pretreatment Specialist to assist the City’s Pretreatment Coordinator in performing industrial waste monitoring activities.
Qualifications: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent, supplemented by two years post secondary college or technical training in biology, environmental science, chemistry, or a closely related field; two years of experience in a wastewater utility, preferably in a pretreatment position; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements: Must have a valid state driver’s license.

This position is part-time (0.4 FTE) term-limited and the rate of pay is $38.00 per hour. This is not a union-covered position as it is less than 24 hours per week.
