St. Helens City Hall is now listed as a bike friendly location on RideOregonRide.com, Oregon’s premier bicycle travel website receiving nearly 170,000 visitors annually. City Hall offers visiting bicyclists free WiFi, public restrooms, a place to refill water bottles, visitor information, and complimentary charging for cell phones and laptops.
By becoming bicycle friendly and joining Travel Oregon’s free Bicycle Friendly Business Program, your business can also tap into the rapidly growing bicycle tourism industry. Bicycle-related tourism contributes $400 million to Oregon’s economy annually – approximately $1.1 million per day.
The Bicycle & Pedestrian Commission meets on the last Thursday of every other month at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers.
The Bicycle & Pedestrian Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council. The Commission acts to promote safe and friendly bicycle and pedestrian paths in the City of St. Helens.
