Waterfront Development Plan Update Committee

Nearly 20 years ago the City received a formal Waterfront Development Plan, which was updated during the Periodic Review in 1998.  It is time to expand and update these plans.  A committee of interested persons has volunteered to serve for up to 12 months on a committee to review the existing plans and to continue them as is, modify them or rewrite a new plan for the City's Waterfront area, which potentially includes water frontage from Scappoose Bay Marine to the North Urban Growth Boundary by Columbia City at Wyeth Street intersection with River Street.

This committee will review existing plans, research possible changes/modifications, and recommend to the Council to stay with the existing plan, to modify the existing plan, or to hire a consultant to redo the entire plan.

Meetings are normally held in the City Hall Council Chambers on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.  Click below to review minutes/notes, if available.
